Born in 1961 under the name of “N. Zukry Sworn Measurer, Weigher & Checker”. Weighing, tallying and measuring of various ocean going cargoes were the firm’s activities. After years of service, other expansion were carried out to fulfill more demand. In 1969 its business name became “Marine & Cargo Inspection Co.,Ltd.” and was officially abbreviated to the acronym “MCI”, and becomes more popular as its name. The company is privately owned by Indonesian Nationals.
MCI has built up a reputation amongst our clients including government agencies, as a reliable independent surveyor. As an independent organization the company is not associated with any trading, shipping, insurance, mining, manufacturing, industrial or other similar interests. This is to maintain an impartial and neutral position of prime credibility.
Now MCI has an extensive network in all major port areas in Indonesia providing a full range of superintendence, inspection and marine survey services on a diverse range of materials and commodities.
